Southwest 15-23 m/s, strongest winds south of the Vatnajökull glacier. Wind gusts can exceed 30 m/s near mountains, which can be hazardous for vehicles, especially those susceptible to wind. Loose objects outside can be blown away. Considerable rain is expected.
